Technology products and services provider, NEC has recently announced the launch of its new unified communication product, Univerge Blue.
Offering cloud based services such as web conference, voice, and contact centre, the new UCaaS product from NEC is a broader version of what the company has offered to clients in the past. According to reports, Univerge Blue is available immediately in the US and there are plans in place for it to be rolled out in Europe next year.
According to NEC, Univerge Blue offers a significant amount of flexibility to users. With three customisable levels of the service on offer; basic, standard and premium, it is suitable for organisations of all sizes. Clients can subscribe to the service on a monthly basis or for either a three year or five year contract. Univerge Blue offers 24/7 system monitoring and support to users.
Organisations across the globe are switching to the cloud as the benefits become clearer. Communication solutions are constantly changing, and having a cloud based system means unified communication tools such as telephone systems with VoIP and video can be automatically maintained and upgraded without the need for expensive hardware.
